Practically the led tubes lasts half the life of a florescent tube! I have replaced too many of them! Led manufacturers indulge in planned obsolescence

I much prefer florescent tubes less troublesome and the lighting is more natural, I’ve had a couple led tube lights and the light they produce is odd, both mine started having the odd led go dim or go out after a few months so the light wasn’t even, the old florescent tubes used to last year’s before the blew.

  13. Study Man on May 25, 2023 at 12:32 pm

36 watt tubelight for fluoroscent costs 40 rs, 40 watt fluoeoscent tubelight costs 50 rs.

The LED bulbs I have used so far burn out quickly. I still prefer incandescent. The quality of the light is far better than either.

  21. Azrul Leo on May 25, 2023 at 12:38 pm

Philips EyeComfort LED technology is fantastic. Less glare, no flicker, easy to eyes and very reliable.. I have been using their 20W T8 (2100L) for average of 12 hours a day for almost 2 years and it still works well.

ELC choke costs 110 rs by havells. And Led Battens are simply E-Waste after they fail. And they started cutting costs of these LED battens so they will last max 2.5 years. Not more.In my area i come across many spots where someone dumped 2 Dead LED tube lights and it has become bad.

  31. Nikhil S. on May 25, 2023 at 12:47 pm

Sir u should explain as 10 hrs of daily usage + cost coverage up if replaced by led (i have replaced my whole to leds and i started seeing 100-200 rupees reduction in light bills, if i use it for 12 months itll save me 1200+ rupees.) Keeping my old ones as spare.(didnt throw it. Also old tube light fits in slot of fluoresent tube holder).

  32. comrade Enfielder on May 25, 2023 at 12:48 pm

Can you please tell me…..which is good for eyes

  33. Man of Steel on May 25, 2023 at 12:53 pm

Well explained because even I have noticed the surface area led lights covers is less so better I you get bigger size otherwise they are close to useless…

  34. Hp Balasubramaniam on May 25, 2023 at 12:53 pm

    Explained very well

  35. Kaustabh Ray on May 25, 2023 at 12:55 pm

LEDs are extremely harmful for eyes. The damage is irreversible. On a default basis tube remains switch on for at least 10 hours in average home. The amount of money you will save in your whole life, 10-50 times of that will go in a single eye operation.

  36. Dan B on May 25, 2023 at 12:56 pm

  41. Divyansh W on May 25, 2023 at 1:06 pm
