    Tint spray

  4. Gold VP on March 30, 2023 at 2:38 am

Get out of CFL bulbs…go LED
Incandescent under 40 watt, gives a warm glow

  5. moodsmcgee on March 30, 2023 at 2:40 am

Remembered your recommendation… did you sell these out on Amazon or what?

  6. René on March 30, 2023 at 2:42 am

    I installed a dimmer switch.

  7. lololine 1970 on March 30, 2023 at 2:45 am

    This is a great video!!!

  8. FrankieFigs on March 30, 2023 at 2:46 am

Now cut the box down to the bare minimum necessary to identify the bulb and tape it inside your medicine cabinet!

  9. LanaMuckraker on March 30, 2023 at 2:49 am

    those babies are dimmable too

  10. Heather Hogan on March 30, 2023 at 2:50 am

Does it come in the ‘candle shape’ for a chandelier do you know?

  11. moodsmcgee on March 30, 2023 at 2:51 am

We have exposed bulbs and could use a different brightness for sure. I hate turning them on. And even if your not funny…. you helped me. So you get a pass.

  12. Keith Ford on March 30, 2023 at 2:53 am

Took your advice and just installed these bulbs. Lady of the house is happy. Thanks!

    Par 20 led 3000k
    You’re welcome.

    800 lumens!! You’re crazy!

  15. Gigi W. on March 30, 2023 at 2:57 am

    Thanks!

  16. Jude Langdon on March 30, 2023 at 2:57 am

I have a 13" bell shaped clear glass shade on my kitchen pendant light – I can’t see the link for the frosted bulb you like. Can you specify the maker and wattage? Thanks.

  17. General on March 30, 2023 at 2:58 am

Get RBG&W Strip LED’s and a cable & corner kit and do under the toe spaces under your cabinets, inside your cabinets and above your sink. Put a piece of trim down an inch to cover the light from coming into your face and hook it to an automatic on/off switch on a timer when no movement is detected. Saves a ton of money and its KEWL, TOO !!!

  18. ardendolas on March 30, 2023 at 3:01 am

Missed opportunity to have the mirrored carpenter do some funny stuff in the background! But thanks as usual!

  19. umchoyka on March 30, 2023 at 3:02 am

Yeah, this issue is called glare. Hanging clear lensed fixtures at eye height is a recipe for disaster XD

  20. Qoolcat on March 30, 2023 at 3:03 am

Turning the fixture so the light bulbs face up probably would have helped.

  21. disklamer on March 30, 2023 at 3:07 am

Pulling off that wig like a pro – the look that’ll scare children and oldtimers equally.

  22. Peter on March 30, 2023 at 3:09 am

Dude I feel your pain. After almost a year I found 3500k LED bulbs with clear glass for an exposed fixture. That’s what I’ve found to be the perfect balance, not too yellow and not too blue. Now someone needs to make a 3500k under cabinet light so I can actually have uniformity in the house

  23. eric ryder on March 30, 2023 at 3:10 am

Solid move with the wig! Gotta go buy me some lamps!

  24. Ilya Barskiy on March 30, 2023 at 3:12 am

Legit. We’re still on those Edison bulbs. It’s like you’re pooping in the operating room. A dimmer is on a honeydo, so we’ll see. OR. I could get these bulbs you’re recommending. Only time will tell.

  25. Pernicious Pete on March 30, 2023 at 3:13 am

AW! I wanted you to sing the song!–but, then, I’ve never heard you sing.
By the way, where do you stick the thermometer to check the bulb’s temperature?

  26. M.L. C on March 30, 2023 at 3:14 am

i wanna go with clear but i think going with a frosted shade would be easier so im not blinded

  27. Jonathan on March 30, 2023 at 3:14 am

    "Funny Carpenter?" Lmao!
We were having trouble with some hall fixtures that are clear and ended up getting smart bulbs to control "color" and brightness. They don’t look neat though, so we might try one of these and go from there. Thank you sir!

This content is really bad. He is deceiving and trying to just get money from amazon affiliate links. No useful or technical information. I would recommend anyone watching this, let him know that this kind of practice should be ended. Otherwise, I would ask YouTube to stop recommending this channel.

  29. Stephen Bozzone on March 30, 2023 at 3:17 am

This is my favorite video so far. No question mark needed, you ARE the Funny Carpenter. I laughed out loud three times; “don’t sing the song”, the sunglasses and then the disco wig. This is just what I needed after a long day. Thank you.

  30. Pernicious Pete on March 30, 2023 at 3:19 am

How does my ex-wife change a light bulb?
She just holds the bulb up to the socket and waits for the world to revolve around her.

  31. Emiller on March 30, 2023 at 3:21 am

Too late, I sang the song!

  32. George Bush on March 30, 2023 at 3:21 am

DImmers are alternative solution as well. A matter of opinion on whether the added cost over traditional switches is worth the added flexibility but it’s worth it.

  33. Elangomatt on March 30, 2023 at 3:24 am

Ugh, I just purchased some bulbs for a clear glass light fixture in my kitchen this morning. I decided to try out 2700k 500 lumen Edison style spiral "filament" bulbs. I should be able to return them if I don’t end up liking the color or brightness. I think a kitchen is probably more forgiving than above a bathroom mirror since you don’t really have to look directly toward the bulb much.

    “This bulb made me sad”

  35. JareDevilDog on March 30, 2023 at 3:26 am

Funny carpenter indeed ! Thanks for the video and making us laugh.

  36. Roger Burner on March 30, 2023 at 3:30 am

One of those bulbs made your hair look funny!

  37. SOCIALIST DISTANCING on March 30, 2023 at 3:31 am

H9w did you know that I was going to sing the song? Lmao. Kind of a Bob Ross look with that wig. LoL

Well, you are definitely correct about bulbs. Some lights are just not your friend. Especially if you’re shopping or in a restaurant. I question who picked the fixtures.

  38. Richard T on March 30, 2023 at 3:31 am

Revv’d up like a Deuce another runner in the night.
One serious note – cheaper LED lights will flicker like crazy! Worth getting good quality lights and keep the receipt in case you need to return them.

  39. Michael Tricker on March 30, 2023 at 3:31 am

The reflection was out of sink…is this some Jay Bates shit going on?
