Flat Panel Ceiling Light Installation | LED Flat Panel Lighting | Peterson Electric

https://petersonelectricllc.com/ – Hi everyone, Josh Peterson Peterson Electric here. In this video I’m showing you some flat panel LED tiles we installed for a commercial space. These LED ceiling tiles are only about a half an inch thick, so they work very well in instances where space is a problem. As you can see, these types of fixtures are really bright!
** NOTE: Sorry about the volume cutting in and out 🙁

I don’t know if flat panels still have this issue, but I installed at least a hundred on a library job here in VA. When the temperature fluctuated (perhaps it was barometric pressure, I’m not meteorologist) the panels, or whatever the glue they used on the inside of the panel would bubble up and look like one of those really bad window tint jobs. This went on for MONTHS until we where ordered to drill small holes on top of the panels to allow the pressure to escape. This was about 5 or 6 years ago.

Just got my masters license about a month ago! You where my inspiration! Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Just put a 2×4 one of these in our family business last night! Looks great and beats those old bulky fluorescent panel lights!

Nice vid Josh didnt know they made these slim panels i figured there out but such a very narrow path of no breath room no surprise your gonna have to adjust the lamps like your other viewer said. Especially with low insulation. Are these protected by a thermal. Sounds like that wouldnt be a problem but shallow celing bright light never know.

I’ve been looking at these for residential. The panels are nice and thin but they come with a power brick that is thicker. Did you use an alternate wiring scheme with this installation? Also, are there any heat dissipation issues that need to be considered? I agree they look great but I would be open to something a little closer to daylight (5000K).

Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it, but can you tell me if these led panels come with all the mounting hardware in the box for the drop ceiling or do I have to buy extra mounting hardware?
